A future facing, Tesla inspired, hardcore 24hr race car. 🏎
Submitted for the annual Michelin Design Challenge, the Tesla LMPE looks into the future of endurance racing, when all electric racers change the landscape of automotive racing. One notable feature is the concept Michelin ultralight tires, 3D printed and filled with a porous, sponge-like material. This three dimensional nanomaterial is engineered so that it can cope with all forces a racing tire meets during a race. “We built an entire ecosystem around the vehicle, including a timeline for technological developments leading up to the 2030 LeMans race.“ 🏁
