Skrolla

A designer lounge chair constructed from only six wooden parts.

We've had the pleasure of seeing and sitting in this new lounge chair design that uses a single scroll-shaped seat and arm part to form the main seating body. The seat and backrest have been constructed with 13 layers of vacuum formed plywood veneer, carefully angled for a comfortable lounging position. The legs feature a step change in the diameter that acts as a shoulder to carry the weight of the chair and user, this clever construction eliminates the need for leg supports underneath.
